“Mediascapes refer both to the distribution of the electronic capabilities to produce and disseminate information (newspapers, magazines, television stations and film production studios), which are now available to a growing number of private and public interests throughout the world, and to the images of the world created by these media.” (Appadurai 1990:9)

Appadurai's notion of mediascapes is still relevant and insightful today, especially when including digital devices and platforms in the (re)mix of local and global processes and possibilities. I have produced innumerable media artifacts throughout my lifetime, including analog and digital media productions ranging from cassette "radio" programs and paper "movie" scrolls made with papertowel cylinders and a Converse All-Star shoebox to short video and audio productions, nerdy memes, and lessons learned working with different digital tools. Some of the analog artifacts are long-gone while many others have survived, but most of the digital artifacts are available through various online media, which I have curated here.

AnthroBone Typography
I have created and digitized a number of custom fonts over the years, which are available in this Dropbox folder. I created the first six (0-5) almost a decade ago on an early HP Tablet, which I loved and died too young. These are mostly versions of fonts I created in my analog composition journals when I was a teenager. The rest I created with the Fonty app on my Samsung Galaxy Tab-A, which I love even more. Have fun and please share your creations if you use them!
